"Showcasing Student Talent in Korfball" The tournament will be conducted within the rules of Korfball as outlined and approved by the International Korfball Federation. Click here for a pdf file containing a summary of the official rules. Referees All referees officiating the tournament will be practically qualified with reasonable experience refereeing the sport. Player Registration Teams must consist of no more than 12 players, all of which must be currently registered with the university they are competing for. Registration must be submitted to Peter Quinn (stand-in BSKS Chair) no later than the 8th February. Opening and Closing Ceremonies This year's tournament will feature both an Opening Ceremony, at 9.30am on Day One, and Closing Ceremony, at 4.00pm on Day Two. It is compulsary that all teams and their players attend both. Tournament Registration Team registration on the opening day of the tournament will take place at the Sportspark between 9am and 9.15am. It is important that all teams, regardless of their first fixture, arrives between these times. |
